By the way, I've been getting some great feedback on how to do the contest better next time. After this year's contest, we'll take a lot of it to heart:

  1. Robby Slaughter has a lot of valid points here, save the part about conflict of interest as his post was based on the assumption that Erik Deckers and Paul Lorinczi work for me at Professional Blog Service.  Well, I sold ProBlog Service back in June to Erik and Paul.  I'm not sure that Robby knew this when he wrote his article...
  2. Better Categories.  Ok, we blew it on the categories.
  3. Nomination criteria. We were not as clear as we could have been.

That said, the outcome of the contest has been fantastic - lots of traffic to the blogs - and I'm sure many people have made some fantastic discoveries checking out the contestants.
